A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to have some time off work at home with zero plans! I am one of those ‘I’ve got a week off so let me fill it’ kind of girls , so it was absolute bliss to have time to myself.
One place I keep hearing about is the Peggy Porschen Cake shop, so it was a must try during my ‘lady of leisure’ few days.
The Parlour is open everyday (10 minute walk from Victoria station) and it offers freshly baked cupcakes that you can enjoy with one of Peggy’s own blend teas, or a classic coffee. Not to mention, the whole shop is that beautiful shade of blush pink ,an instagrammers dream!!
Peggy Porschen is an award winning cake designer that specialises in occasion cakes – weddings in particular. Peggy’s cakes were previously made-to-order, until she launched ‘Peggy Porschens Cake Shop’ allowing everyone the chance to have a taste.
I met up with the gorgeous Tia Talula (a talented photographer responsible for the pretty shots in this blog post) for a girly morning catch up over cake, camera tips and makeup! We went for the Strawberry and Champagne, and Red Velvet cupcakes. WOW! I don’t think I have tasted cake like it! The strawberry and champagne was definitely a firm favourite (obvs).
It opens from 10 – 6 but I would recommend getting there early when its quieter. We arrived at 10.30am which was perfect, cake for breakfast is always a good way to start your day…
I definitely recommend this pretty little spot for a girly catch up in London! And definitely give the gorgeous @tiatalula a follow on Instagram for the most gorgeous flat lays and photography.
Have a great week,
