Illuminating Balm
The weather is getting cooler therefore our skin is getting drier losing any sight of that natural glow! An illuminating balm or strobe cream is the perfect product for this time of year. Mix into your foundation or press a little into your skin pre/post makeup to the areas you want to add glow.
TIP: When using a balm always remember to warm it up in your hands first so it easily melts into your skin upon application.
Liquid Foundation
Stick foundation is my everyday must have, however during Autumn/Winter, my skin craves a little more coverage and moisture. I love to layer my foundation at this time of year allowing me to up the coverage level without my skin looking cakey. I start with a sheer layer of Skin Liquid Foundation to even my skin tone and then add stick foundation to areas where needed to neutralise any additional imperfections that need added coverage. I much prefer to do this than to use a full coverage foundation.
Bronzing Powder
Autumn/Winter, when bronzing powder is needed the most! Instant sun kissed skin giving your complexion a pick me up. On the hunt for your perfect bronzer shade? Click here to see my bronzing blog post.
Tawny Brown Lipstick
Of course a new season had to be a reason for a new lipstick! Any excuse right?! This is the month to invest in a Tawny Brown Lip Colour. It should be a couple of shades deeper than your natural lip tone.
Don’t usually wear tawny brown autumnal lipsticks? Go for a balmy texture which will look sheerer and more natural for you on the lips.
Creamy Peach Blush
Cream is always my preferred blusher formula whatever the season! But in the cooler months in particular cream gives an instantly glossy finish to your skin. My favourite has to be Fresh Melon Pot Rouge. Works wonders on skin tones up to a medium to dark. If you have a darker skin tone opt for Calypso Coral. When using cream blush, be sure to use your highlighting powder beforehand, getting maximum pop and glow from your creamy blush.
