For my fellow city commuters out there, or busy mums that struggle to have the time to do their face before leaving the house, this 5 minute face is for you!
If I am doing my face on the go, before I leave I prep my skin, use my lash curlers, apply a little brow gel (loving Boy Brow in Brown at the moment) and then take these 5 things out the house with me to do a full face on the go. (One brush needed for the whole look which is the Full Coverage Face Brush).
Concealer
I swipe this under my eyes to add brightness to the under eye. Always use a shade lighter than your skin tone for maximum brightness. I currently use ‘Sand’ Instant Full Cover Concealer.
Stick Foundation
Draw your stick foundation directly onto your face where coverage is needed then diffuse this and your under eye concealer into the skin with the Full Coverage Face Brush. Stick formulas are always my go to for quick and mess proof makeup.
Pot Rouge
Add using the same brush to your cheeks. Cheesy grin to yourself in the mirror and apply to the apples of your cheeks blending back towards the hairline. On the go I always opt for a peachy nude so it can double it up as a bit of a bronzer. I love Fresh Melon by Bobbi Brown or Beam by Glossier.
Mascara
Lots of layers of a volumizing formula as I don’t apply liner with this look but need definition for my barely there lashes. My current go to is Lancome Hypnose.
Lipstick
I usually go for a pop lipstick shade. As everything else is super natural a bright lip instantly makes it look like you spent a lot longer on your face than you actually had the chance to.

TIP: If you are in need of faking the look of a few extra hours sleep, opt for pink! Pink is the shade that brightens your complexion the most working wonders on those of us not getting our 8 hours.
